I think lot of people will argue the C-note is the value kit in this price range. It's a great little speaker but for a bedroom this thing should be a contender. I would argue that it has a clearer sound at lower volumes you might use at night

I think that the smaller enclosure will have more of an old school Boombox sound if that's what you're looking for. But even that might be tuned too low too boost '90s music much
