Will it have up to date certificates?

In Australia (and around the world if you are streaming online) triple j is the absolute best for new music. It's a public run radio station directly aimed at young people in Australia but some of us old farts still like listening to new music.

I switched to wayland since arch had manual intervention on the latest update for kwin-x11 I decided it was time to take the plunge.

So far it's actually amazing. In two days of gaming I've had a great experience and OBS has been awesome. I particularly like the pipewire handling of OBS over the x11 window capture.

I also went through the wayland and nvidia arch wiki pages before I started up my game and it looks like everything is now implemented by the nvidia drivers. I'm happy nvidia might finally be catching up, though, I won't hold my breath as it still looks a little like the absolute bare minimum.

It was mainly on Nobara but I guess my negative experience also followed me from troubles in debian early 2024.

Could you please guide me to relevant documentation for this?

For now I'll just start at the Arch wiki for wayland.

This was my experience. I could barely even get my machine to run.

How is wayland nvidia gaming at the moment?

Several months ago I tried gaming on wayland with nvidia and it was completely broken for me.

EDIT: Two days on wayland nvidia now, both gaming and using NVENC in OBS. It's been amazing.

I'm really looking forward to his life processes to fail..

I thought about doing just this.

Oh you can see right through me. 👀

Oh, that would be it! Thank you, we have a fridge freezer set that can clip together to look like one large machine and we never used it because it didn't fit in our kitchen like that.

I've had this part stored in my bedside drawer for years and I can't remember what it's for.

My best guess is it's from an overlocker that I no longer have(?)

SOLVED: It's a hinge cover for a fridge freezer set that clips together to look like one large machine. Thanks to everyone that contributed.

Hi there, I have a quick question regarding my system and mouse lag with nvidia proprietary drivers on X11 using OBS with NVENC.

My system runs great with red dead redemption 2 for around 40 minutes until I begin to lose frames when mouse looking. I can leave the mouse and perform intensive graphical actions and it still runs perfectly without mouse input.

I assume it might be a misconfiguration on the mouse or a known bug with nvidia but am unsure of exactly where to begin looking and/or what terminology I should use to Web search the problem.

Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

My city is in the middle of the worst drought in recorded history. My showers are typically under 2 minutes and I have to shower with a bucket to catch otherwise wasted water to use to flush the toilet. I also shut the water down when I am wet enough so I can scrub myself without having unneeded water flowing then start it back up to rinse.

Plus, water is damn expensive!

Who here really has the time to stand, think and waste in the shower?
