I'm actually genuinely interested as to why you use them.

You could try that yeah, start at the AC input and work your wayt to the DC output to and find out where the circuit fails. If you want to do that though I'd recommend that you take 2 good pictures of the front and the back, put them side to side and sketch out the circuit diagram. It's no use trying to measure voltage nodes if you don't know what they are supposed to be. Question is if that is worth your time, there is certainly some educational value but there is always a chance that you just won't find the fault.

If you do make a schematic then react to my post. I'll try to help you with reading the circuit if you want.

It depends on the definition I guess. I would consider driving a car to be multitasking. But doing three different office tasks on my laptop feels more like context switching as someone dubbed it here.

But I'm just some dude it's not like I've read any papers on it but that's what it feels like for me.

Yeah those codecs always get you.

Wow that's great. Hope they sell in EU as well. Those straps really make the difference compared to those rubber ones that go around your foot, as well as the repairability. Thanks!

[–] Goodman@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 10 months ago

Yeah that is about what I thought. But you know I'm just one guy. Maybe someone knows of a brand that is more repairable than others. Thanks for chiming in.

Dear all, as the title says I am looking for some advice on durable hiking poles and microspikes/crampons.

I frequently hike in the alps and people have told me that there really are no durable microspikes and that the best you can do are repairable metal links. I was wondering if any of you have advice and or experience with these items.
