I've literally seen pants that have what looks like pockets but when you actually check there no actual pockets there. It's like they cut the hole, made the folds, then stitched them closed.

It blows my mind!

I started with a Lubitel 166b, they can be had pretty cheaply in pretty good condition. I got mine for about $75USD in working condition with OG packaging, manuals, and a carrying case. Though I'd recommend a Lubitel 166 Universal though as they can shoot both 6x6 and 645, which is really cool. (120 film, 12 frames per roll)

My Agfa Synchro Box camera was had for about $60USD and came with a carrying case. It shoots 6x9. (120 film, 8 frames per roll)

My Sputnik Stereo Camera was about $275, said to have been serviced recently, it needs a solid CLA though. Which sucks but ain't the first time that's happened. It shoots Stereo 6x6 photos. (120 film, technically 6 shots per roll)

My Graflex Speed Graphic was bought in "For Parts" condition for about $300, and it needed a lot of work on my part to get it working great. But it's working like a dream now. It had stuck shutters, bend focusing rails, a filthy lens, and so much more. It shoots 4x5 sheet film. (individual 4x5 sheets)

I'd love to go larger but that's when things go from expensive to nucking futs. Like just the film is like $200 for 25 black and white negatives. And the cameras are even more insane!

If that's like actually chain links then that thing is really likely to pinch

And NGL that sounds horrifying

Likewise

Good news is that we don't have to buy it very often at least

I'd love to buy a home

I just can't do it any time soon due to ballooning prices where I currently live

NGL finding deodorant that doesn't smell awful is kinda hard for me. My sense of smell is easily my most sensitive sense which makes a lot of things really overwhelming. (So many new things I buy need to be left to air out for a day or more before I can use them)

Especially if it's marketed to men. So many men's products have smells like "Smoke, tobacco, whisky, etc" and I'm just sitting here going "I don't want to smell like shit, I wanna smell nice"

This one though IMO is one of my favorites, it smells nice and fruity and it's not over powering. It's subtle.

And it plays really nicely with my shampoo and body wash.

When I asked them if I could share a picture of their suit they said they'd prefer if I didn't, so unfortunately I can't share any pics of it.

They've only had it now for a little less than a year so I understand why they're a bit cagey about sharing pictures of it out of context

So much this!

If you've got an electric vehicle you can charge it with anything really.

Solar panels, hydro, wind, a generator, etc

The perfect apocalypse vehicle load out IMO is an electric car (perhaps even an electric van/box truck), electric dual sport motorcycle, and a bicycle.

NGL that pic you shared looks bad ass!

I had a setup similar to this for awhile (2 stacked monitors and a vertical one on the side)

It was pretty nice once I had my primary monitor as the bottom one, chat on the vertical one (or code, it varied), and typically music or something playing on the top one. The top monitor was my old gaming monitor with trash color accuracy and viewing angles, the side monitor was a dumpster find (had to fix it) with trash colors and good viewing angles, and the main monitor was a 27in monitor with great colors and great viewing angles.

Now I've just got 2 monitors, 1 42in 4k TV with great colors and the dumpster monitor from before (it still works so why replace it lol) both horizontal.

:3 not anymore, I'm citrusy now

I went to restock on my pitstick and I struggled to find it due to the redesign

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw it as it now looks so damn similar to one of friend's suits

The Minox is so damn cute!

I primarily shoot 120 film but after shooting some 4x5, 35mm film seems so little.

We shared a laugh about it after our little interaction.

I do the same thing when they get packages, we've been doing this little joke (and a few others) for years now.

For those curious the item over the ostrich's face is a Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 camera. Mine is not in as good of condition and needs some TLC, but not only was I expecting that I'm happy to see that I'm going to have to service it. I like to fix things lol

I don't plan to buy another one any time soon... but what's the harm in knowing which one I'll buy next?

Just gotta service the ones I got before I can justify buying another old AF film camera.

Maybe one that actually takes 35mm film instead of 120 or 4x5...

It literally starts in downtown in one major city, cuts through uninhabited wilderness, then around the state capital (but not in it) to another major city's downtown core. Oh and grabs a third downtown core out to the east as well after going through another uninhabited wilderness.

EDIT: There are worse ones in the US, but this one (literally) hits close to home.

I'm joking of course, no good financial decisions are made by me at 2am.

I bought a large format film camera from 1939. Specifically a 4x5 film camera.

And I technically bought it about a week ago (at 2am), and it's due to arrive between tomorrow and Monday.

I've shot a decent amount of medium format film before this (even developing it myself) but I have 0 experience with large format.

Worst case scenario I restore it and eventually sell it, best case scenario my photography hobby broadens further into more formats.

At least I got them to chuckle when I said, "With the rate I'm going do I get like a stamp card and the 5th diagnosis free?"
