Only one way to view it, disastrous for Musk, the US government, the US people and the world. To think that someone could wreak so much damage in such a short time with so little regard for the consequences is staggering.

Trump seems have decided that he can rule by decree regardless of the laws passed by Congress or the limits of the Constitution. Most of what he is doing is probably illegal and the courts should consider it in how they approach good will to the government.

Most women I know who have an EV say they won’t go back.

It’s about comparable vehicles and driving techniques. If you tried to drive a similar sized ICE like you drive the Prius then emissions of all sorts would be greater. It might be hard to as the acceleration of an EV is hard to match.

Almost all cars and products have call home features in them these days. Car companies are putting kill switches in to stop delinquent purchasers. The trick is to manage them rather than whinge about them. If you know they are there then manage the network and environment to limit the risk.

Just goes to show when you let billionaire megalomaniacs run large public services you have them trying to create a world to suit themselves.

You have to be careful what you wish for given that you are only president for so long. Eventually you could be hoist on your own petard.

ICE are public servants and are knowingly breaking the law by obeying illegal orders. The Nuremberg trials dealt with that following orders stuff.

Apparently concrete water tanks, the type on a lot of rural houses, are naturally fluoridated. My kids have really good teeth which was a surprise given the number of fillings I had as a child.

We are supposed to trust our governments however it is pretty obvious that a Trump could come along and seriously misuse the backdoors that were said to be necessary to protect us. It doesn’t matter if you trust the current mob, it’s a rogue future mob we have to guard against.
