Only one fanbase at the end of the year gets to truly celebrate. You have to appreciate the small victories and rooting for amazing players like Diggs and Allen. Yeah there are some rough losses like today and yeah the odds are against them making the Super Bowl but thirty teams will miss the Super Bowl.

Appreciate what you get to watch now because you could be watching some genuine misery. Atleast you know every week you'll see a competitive team. The Rams went over fifteen years without fielding a seriously competitive team. So when McVay turned things around I genuinely appreciated that I wasn't watching a Fisher team that was destined to go 7-9. Even before the first Super Bowl appearance.

So appreciate the small shit. Root for fighting for a playoff spot. Root for playing spoiler to other teams.

As someone from Jersey I wish they would. The whole "cool" rebrand Jay-Z and Prokhorov tried to do didn't work. They wanted to try and take over NYC basketball, which was fucking hilarious at the time. The Knicks can be awful and the Garden is still sold out every night. The Nets moving to Brooklyn was never going to take over NYC.

All it did was alienate Jersey fans. It's like if the Devils moved to Brooklyn. Jersey fans would feel betrayed and Rangers fans would be like "okay welcome to the city little brother lol." Hell I remember when they put the Islanders in Barclays (what a trainwreck for so many reasons) and that blew up. You aren't taking NYC from the Rangers and Knicks.

They should cut a deal with the Prudential Center so they can bring the team back to Jersey. The Devils have passionate fans because they're Jerseys own. The Nets had that too and would get it again.

No way it happens though.

You're not including what happened prior to Brady though. That's fine if you want to include all of the great defenses Brady had but you can't disregard Bill's head coaching career before Brady.

Yes he had two Super Bowl wins at the DC of the Giants but he was an average to awful coach before the dynasty with Brady began. You have to take that into account.
