I think part of the issue is the individualistic culture of Ottawa. Everyone just minds their own business to a fault here.

You could probably build something decent for CAD$1000. Canada computers often have massive discounts on a lot of items. US$700 to CAD$1000 is not that far apart. The console would probably still be more performant but the point is, the prices are not that far apart anymore.
What helps me is listening to music with repeating sounds. It paces me and allows me to keep doing things for a longer period of time.
The new inbox is a lot easier on the eyes. I'm loving it.
Would be even better if it can be registered as the default launcher too
I run it on my second phone, a OP6T. GNOME on mobile has improved a lot. The framerate is higher and the keyboard is more consistent. Auto rotate now works. I still wouldn't use it as my daily driver though since the camera still doesn't work, voice input with pipewire is very wonky and it still crashes every now and then. Random touch input bugs happen twice a day too, forcing me to reboot. It got so far but it still has a bit left to go.
We sure have a lot of interesting people in Ottawa don't we?
A much needed feature gets released quicker than usual for the benefit of users and they complain about broken faith? They could have just delayed the release until they tested it thoroughly. Using that kind of wording makes me feel they're just in for the drama.
This reminds me of someone else who didnt get to pursue a career in arts and instead tried to destroy the world.
Thanks for sharing that. That was informative.
Poor eye contact and abnormal postures have their own categories? I've always lumped them together as "poor body control"
To skirt Canadian employment laws, a previous employer gave me unrealistic targets and even when I acheived them she would say I'm underperforming. This exists in every country. Employers will always find a way to make it look like the employee quit of their own volition.
