I'm about to make the switch to an R5C as I need to incorporate video into my workflow, I plan on keeping my 5D2 as a backup body, keep the EF-L lenses as they still perform very well with an adapter from what I've read, and buy/replace with RF lenses as necessary. I don't see any value in keeping a body for its in camera processing treatments unless you really don't want to spend time editing. I can give any raw digital photo "film like qualities" in post, and you can probably find presets for any specific film type. What I want from a body is resolution, low noise, af accuracy, and good dynamic range. I don't care how it wants to process colours since I'm going to fine tune them anyway and I just want the most possible information to work with.
