599 or 560s.

I find the HD599 to be the most enjoyable headphones in mid-lower end headphones (not audiophile opinion). in c/headphones@hi-fi.community

I was on a similar boat to you until I got the 58x's. imo (emphasis on o), the 58x's are just better 599's in everything minus clamp force

My jaw still hurts from wearing them
