For 5 years (300+ days a year) it was a Rosegold Oysterflex Rolex Yachtmaster 116655. I picked up a carbotech PAM661 on vacation in Austria in August 2022 and fell in love with it - I loved how light it was, crazy comfortable and wore flat, had great presence, quality was off the charts and I just couldn’t take it off for about a year, and wore it almost exclusively. In Sept of this year, I went down a high end titanium Casio MR-G rat hole - and now I’ve been wearing (5 out of 7 days a week) one of these….
As a fellow
Moon phases for the win.
Check out the Casio Oceanus line for women. It should be available in your price range (especially with a little negotiation). Most of them have beautiful dials - many of which are genuine mother of pearl, and they are solar powered (no batteries to regularly change) and if you live in a country which is in range of solar clock radio waves, it will re-sync the time to an atomic clock automatically every night for you, so it’s always perfectly accurate. They also have titanium bands, which are lighter and stronger than steel, and they don’t transfer temperature as well as steel, so the watch is cooler on your wrist in the summer, and warmer in the winter.
Here’s an example - they have dozens of different models, with different faces, sizes, etc.
There are $8k MR-G’s. You also don’t have to spend all the $.
Consider:
- A Panerai on rubber
- A high end MR-G G-Shock (they start at $3k and are incredible quality)
Owning both of the above, my vote would be MR-G. The new MR-G models are crazy good.
Nothing like an “ask me anything” where the OP responds to nothing 🙄
