I think their logic behind this complete bullshit is if they make it hard enough on you to dual boot, you'll just stick with windows. I switched over a year ago, never looking back and seeing posts like this one makes me feel even better about it.

I've been running wayland on popOS for a year now. Works great. It's already installed, you just have to into a file and either delete a line or change false to true. Takes about 2 minutes.

What distro's and what issues did you have? I'm curious because of how good it has worked for me this past year. I wanted to switch to Linux for the past 15 years but there was always something that didn't work out enough that it was a deal breaker. Now, I have no issues with anything.
Might depend on the flavor of Linux, but I had no issue at all with PopOS or Mint
Not just a Linux user, anyone that needs a printer/copier.
