Harden cruising his way to being a joke in the league. Dude was amazing in Houston. But now he just wants to sit back and cruise while others do the heavy lifting.

Unless he starts playing like Houston Harden again he's done, dude cannot win by only taking 8-9 shots a game. Literally cruising by barely taking any shots and not putting anymore effort into defense. Usually when you get star teammates your efficiency goes up but Harden is literally the same player as before but taking half the shots. Which is useless.

Defensive specialist know their roles and the smart ones don't put themselves in positions where they have to do more than they are capable of.

Gobert seems to take zero effort into being smart on offense sans the offensive rebounding and screens. Cause if he were actively thinking about how to help his team on offense he wouldn't be asking for the ball in the post thinking "pass" when a 6'1 guard is on him. Like you seriously must not be thinking if you asked for the ball in that situation and didn't know what the right thing to do was.

As soon as Gobert saw another defender coming to help he got flustered and panicked. He brought the ball to his left which made it impossible for him to pass to the cutter on his right when Brown finally cut (cause Gobert told him to). Gobert should not be asking for the ball in the post unless he's immediately putting the ball up to score or passing within 2 seconds.

Kinda hard to justify when he's so good defensively. Timing, anticipation, coordination, defensive post footwork, defensive IQ and vision, he shows so much on the defensive end it's hard to fathom why none of that shows up on the offensive end.

Also, is BBIQ an effort thing cause Gibert's offensive BBIQ is really low.

Basic defensive scheme? 6'1, 200lb Jevon Carter literally just had to stand between Rudy and the basket to stop him cause Rudy doesn't have the skills to power him down or get around him to score on him 3 feet away from the basket.

If Rudy is no Jokic then he really shouldn't be asking for the ball in the block like that trynna pass. Like what was the plan Rudy? You had a 6'1 guard on you on the block, why are you asking for the ball to try and pass it?

And why did he get triple teamed?

Cause he asked for the ball and settled in a bad spot for himself (would've been fine for most bigs but it's a bad spot for Rudy). Dude couldn't get himself in a better position with Jevon Carter guarding him in the post.

Cause he didn't immediately take advantage of having the 6'1 Jevon Carter defending him 1v1 to score.

Cause he told his teammate to cut and panicked and didn't know what to do when he got double teamed and he couldn't pass it.

Cause no one is afraid of Rudy Gobert with the ball in his hands cause everyone knows if Rudy tries to do anything but put the ball in the hoop within 3 feet of the basket or pass out immediately when he has the ball he has no idea what to do with the ball.

He did stop and thought about backing out but Gobert told him to keep going, lol.

And even if Brown stayed put, what was Gobert gonna do? Dude has zero post game and is a shitty passer. When Gobert gets the ball he needs to pass it back out or put it in the hoop asap cause he has no idea what to do with the ball.
