Heading into week 9, there’s a chance that going into week 10, that number could be around 47 or 48. The Giants, Steelers, Vikings, Cardinals, Falcons could all potentially start a different QB this week.
I think this could be a big contributing factor to offense dropping around the league. A lot of injuries at QB across the league has led to the likes of PJ Walker, Bagent, Trubisky, and others to play due to starting QB injuries.
The most in a single season was 87 during the strike year of 1987. I don’t think we will hit that mark, but this is still pretty impressive.
You have to admire the Steelers and Bengals refusing to let the Big Ten West die. Even if yesterday was the last game for the West, this game is ensuring it doesn’t go quietly into that good night.
