Thanks, Nacktmull. <3
You make me humble, a bit proud, and a bit ashamed of myself.
All good things, I believe.

Folks-- as I've said before, I could not do this sub without a co-pilot, and I could not wish for a better friend and co-pilot than Mssr-Herr Nacktmull.

So lucky us for having YOU, and lucky you for having US, is it not?

So... did you have something to say, anonymous downvoters...?

And then all they do is pay for the bare cost of the ingredients.

They could have tipped an extra $1000 and made a lot of people cheer. But no....

As far as I know, Peanuts never depicted an adult, so that one gets a pass.

AFAIK you're right, altho I've seen Schulz' cartoons before Lil Folks & Peanuts, where he mainly focused on adults. They're quite good IMO!

Probably just more convenient in the end, since the books seemed to transition to a international TV series around the time Odlaw become an 'arch-enemy.'

Plus, I tend to doubt British watchers would have cared.

Hahah, that's some nice sleuthing.

I'm guessing because that character was created after the biggest market had clearly identified itself. --cheers, Yllaw

Hmm..
I've never had a brown-colored car.
Something to think about, anyway.

The Deathstar laser beam..?
Probably not!

I'm taking a massive guess here, but maybe cultural relevance?
Like-- "Wally" was an old-school name (with slangish suggestions), popular around ~1900.

So perhaps "Wally out, Waldo in?"
No, I'm full of it..

otto mesmer, winsor mccay, emile reynaud, and emile cohl

Wait... you mean Franz Mesmer or Otto Messmer?
Those are some totally different people!

Anyway, I've seen some of the McCay stuff-- so genius!

(but who are Reynaud (literally "fox") and Cohl?)

Ah, thank you kindly!

There really is so much more Euro & ligne claire stuff to cover... It gives me a burst of strength that someone out there is enjoying it. <3

Haha, was that a martial arts version of Punch & Judy, Aliens-style?

I've seen some Chinese versions, but that one was quite a bit different!
