Sorry for you, but how the fuck did you get like that ? If you aren't massively exaggerating, that sounds super un healthy and a massive mental issue. What can possibly make it become like that?

We had to do similarly for one of our cats. Grab the cat. Bend the head up. It will practically force the mouth open. Shove the pill deep into it. Close the mouth.

At least, at some point she learned to give up and stop resisting so damn hard every time.

You can follow pi hole website to do it https://pi-hole.net/

Very easy, straight forward, and well explained.

The only thing you might want to check before buying something or trying this is if your router allows to set custom dns servers. Basically, connect to your router, and check the step 3, and see if it has the option for it. From my understanding some might not have the option.

Not necessary, but a next step can also be to install a VPN and route your mobile phone thru it too. Means you are also covered on the go, so no ads on mobile too , when you aren't home too !

Is what you host publicly accesible? If not, then it's not even a concern. You could even host unsafe apps, but if you know they are entirely inaccessible, it wouldn't change a thing.

As for php itself, it's mostly due to the fact it's by far and wide overwhelmingly crushing the competition. A quick Google search says it's used by about 80% of websites. So, it has, by far, the most (negative) publicity, biggest target, and most inexperienced/bad devs working on it. Software is as secure as its made. Junior dev don't often think about security. It's bigger, so it happens more often.

Good for you. Personally, I feel they aged horribly, the controls, by today's standard, are barely usable. If a new game came out with such controls, I'd probably flat out refuse to play it.
