I mean they do have Android drivers for Exynos now, but if normal devs are still working around snapdragon the effects will still be felt. For all the pull Samsung has, Snapdragon has a much bigger market share.

Pretty much all Android drivers are for snapdragon. Not just using a snapdragon is pretty much asking for a bad time.

Yeah, however I think this is one of those things that should be a stock feature. Most people who use webcams aren't tech people and want a plug and play experience. It isn't particularly hard to implement and helps Android stay competitive with Apple's user experience.
Lol this is funny. I wouldn't really call it much of a war, it's Apple holding back easily implemented features to cater to elitism. Would platforms like WhatsApp have taken over so heavily if basic texting was actually good enough?
Wonder if Valve has something going with Lenovo to make a version of Steam OS for the Legion Go. Easily the coolest looking steam deck competitor right now, but the one windows is kinda brutal
One of the biggest games I can think of on Unity is Rust, and Facepunch has shown that they don't really give two fucks about switching engines. Unreal doesn't really have fairer pricing, but it's way simpler so they're gonna lose a lot of business to them
Seeing all these star trek posts makes me think I should watch star trek. I really like animation so I wanna check out lower decks but it seems like it's too baked into everything else star trek and I wouldn't get it. What do you guys think?

All the trailers looked really good, reminds me of the Bollywood stuff I watched as a kid. American action movies definitely can't work with anime, but I'd expect the Bollywood style to work extreme well with anime.
American movies take themselves too seriously and not seriously enough at the same time, always trying to avoid being "corny". Indian movies seem to revel in this corniness, the stories are far more genuine and the special effects being bad is part of the charm
Y'all are ignoring what this actually is - an app for EVERY video platform. Also, restrictive license is fine as long as the source code is available. Rossman explains this is to keep people from just forking and making scam versions of the app like NewPipe sees.
