It’s pretty interesting that every single player with 87+ receiving touchdowns is either in the Hall of Fame, or about to be in the Hall of Fame (Gronk, Fitzgerald, Gates).

I don’t see how anybody could argue against Mike Evans as an inevitable HOF receiver, especially if he has another 2-3 seasons at his current level of play. His consistency is something to marvel at.

The only knock is no all-pros, but I think consistency at Evans’ level combined with a ring will get him in.

If the Pats end up with a top 3 pick, I trust BB to make that selection more than anybody else. He still might fuck it up, but I have greater faith in him than anybody else.

Agreed.

Glad to see somebody making this point. While scoring is obviously the more “flashy” part of the sport, a defensive 3-0 grinder can be just as exciting as a 51-49 shootout under the right circumstances.
