Admit it, this post is just to remind us that Jimmy Graham is still active lol

Whoever ends up with a better QB

[–] devon223@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Evans is qb proof, I think he gets the edge.

[–] agk927@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Adams easily.

Without looking at that table you would never ever be able to guess who number 3 is

Graham lowkey made a comeback this season. He was out of football last season. One of those NBA-style farewell tour.

[–] GamingTatertot@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Gonna be close - Evans was further behind Adams before the start of this year, but he's gotten more TDs this year (and had a better QB to be fair).

I see them both passing 100+ though

[–] Nexus117@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bias in full effect here, but without a doubt Evans.

[–] IGNORE_ME_PLZZZZ@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If one of them plays one more year than the other that might make the difference. I think Evans is likely to play longer from here on out.

[–] SyntaxInvalidator@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Why’s that? I feel like Adams is more suited for longevity due to his route running

[–] IdkAbtAllThat@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Size ages pretty well too though. Evans never needed to win with speed or agility.

[–] IGNORE_ME_PLZZZZ@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lots more mileage per season and also a chip on his shoulder all the time I think will burn him out faster. Close call though they are both just a couple concussions away now maybe.

Travis Kelce was drafted in 2013 ? Isn’t he the same age as Gronk ?

[–] Bulky-District-2757@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Mike Evans because he’ll have Stroud throwing to him the next few years 😉

Hi Pro Football Reference

[–] Calpaca@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Whichever one that doesn't end up on the jets.

It’s pretty interesting that every single player with 87+ receiving touchdowns is either in the Hall of Fame, or about to be in the Hall of Fame (Gronk, Fitzgerald, Gates).

I don’t see how anybody could argue against Mike Evans as an inevitable HOF receiver, especially if he has another 2-3 seasons at his current level of play. His consistency is something to marvel at.

The only knock is no all-pros, but I think consistency at Evans’ level combined with a ring will get him in.

Only one second-team all-pro is a huge downside. That's a very thin resume. How many people in the HoF have a resume that thin? How many seasons of his career has he been a top 3 receiver?

[–] Low-Strawberry9603@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He will be all.pro this year

[–] dawghomer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No shot. Tyreek, keenan allen, ceedee lamb, Diggs, ajb and amon ra all have a better case

[–] Low-Strawberry9603@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

And half of the people you listed are in the AFC. He's top 3 NFC right now.

[–] invRice@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

No all pros means he was never considered one of the best at his position. Is he really better than Torry Holt? Evans's streak is nice, but sort of meaningless. Would he be much worse if he had 2 less yards in 2017?

[–] cox_ph@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It'd be interesting to see how high Tyreek ends up on that list. You figure playing with Tua and Mike McD will boost his numbers a lot in the near future, but receivers reliant on speed don't always age well once they're past 30.

[–] da85882@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

TIL Jimmy Graham is still active.

[–] Phantom_Nuke@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He has a TD this year, his only reception.

[–] DistantRefaktor@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Was it a one yard TD?

[–] mill_about_smartly@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Daron Bland 😎

The Baker Evans combo is spicy.

Think it really just comes down to who Adams QB is the next 3 years

[–] Stubbs94@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
[–] BatteredAggie@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think Adams has more gas left in the tank, but Evans is a free agent and can probably choose what QB he wants to play with from here on. I’d say Evans for that reason.

[–] _HobbyNoob_@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Idk why it just feels like Evans has been in the league way longer. But my vote is for Adams. FRESNO STATE BABY
