In response to the disastrous Spez AMA, /r/Videos have announced that they will permanently shut down on 11th June, one day ahead of the planned blackout in c/technology@beehaw.org

I doubt it, not just because current social media sites are insanely popular, but also because there's a learning curve to using the Fediverse, and most people would likely find it complicated.

Is it hard to give up your niche reddit communities? I may have a solution. Kind of. in c/technology@beehaw.org
