That's not a pipe dream at all and you can still become better that you ever dreamed of.

It's a matter of practice.

I'll go first:

I am drawn to street photography not for my prowess in it, but for its elusive nature. Though I recognize exceptional street photography, creating an image that resonates with me as much as those by my favorite artists remains a challenge.

I acknowledge the fallacy in my desire, understanding that authentic street photography transcends time and can manifest in any era. Yet, my yearning is to transport myself back 60 to 70 years, immersing my lens in the streets of Porto, Portugal—the city I now call home. I long to freeze moments with its people, documenting a bygone era.

In this temporal journey, I yearn to encounter my grandparents in their youth, capturing the essence of their daily lives. When investigating century-old photos of Porto, a profound nostalgia envelops me, an inexplicable yearning for a time I've never witnessed firsthand. The allure lies in the people, the quaint streets, the absence of towering structures, the vintage attire—a captivating blend that fuels my desire to witness and immortalize it through my camera lens.

How about you?

You just can't decide...yet.

Plus you don't have to stick to just one, but I find that professionals tend to focus in one and during the free time they explore others.

Great. Repeat the shoot.

Let's just hope this wasn't a wedding.

Flash. No kidding. Just a smidge.

The only occasion I focus manually is if I happen to be using my m42 manual focus lenses.

Good glass, fast speeds, predictability of situations, sometimes a tinge of flash, stabilized lenses and above all, a lot of experience.

That's pretty much it.

A self-portrait is a self-representation in art, typically created by an artist using various artistic mediums, such as painting, drawing, or photography. It often involves careful composition and can be highly expressive and artistic. It has more care put into it.

A selfie, on the other hand, is a casual self-portrait taken with a smartphone or camera, typically using the front-facing camera. Selfies are often quick, informal snapshots and are commonly shared on social media. While selfies can be artistic, they are generally associated with more everyday and spontaneous self-representation.

I wouldn't focus in one song, instead I focus im one genre that conveys the energy I want the models to have.

I knew what you were talking about even before opening the thread.

Always carry more than one SD card. I have one in the camera and a case full of them hidden somewhere in the camera bag.

Most definitely Portraits or studio photography in general, hands down. And it's quite awesome once you figure out where your the most comfortable with.
