He's also leading the whole NBA in Net Rating amongst players who have started 7+ games. And 2nd in AST% by that same metric behind only Tyrese Haliburton.

The impact is noticeable every time he's on the court vs off. He's orchestrating this offense and being a true leader. Anyone who said he's incapable of playing a traditional PG role is looking very stupid rn.

Caruso is a fucking beast, every team would love to have him and I respect his defensive IQ and hustle. But I'm not gonna pretend that he wasn't fouling and reaching in like crazy all game last night especially on KD. The refs just did not care one bit... it was wild. Bro should have fouled out like 3 times over if they were calling them. 🤣 But hey, if he was on my team getting away with it I'd be loving it.

I just find it wild how KD is one of the biggest superstars in NBA history yet his skinny ass he gets the whistle of a 2nd year role player. Yet big ass bear-human hybrids like Embiid and Giannis get soft ass whistles. I don't get it.

I would have died if Flav said "LET'S PLAY SOME BASKETBALL" at the end. 🤣

The funny part is animations were actually notorious for being trash for ages though. lol They just gave him some default jank ass animations that looked nothing like his IRL play.

Until he got the cover last year then they brought him into the studio and motion captured him to finally fix the animations.

lol In the video from 2K where he got mocapped, Booker himself said he didn't like to play as himself because they had him very "generic":

Indeed. And his name already has a built in meme if he ever has some sort of embarrassing situation while talking to the media "Too Many Camera"

I'm glad it's not just us Suns fans who see something in him.

Like I know the sample size is small as fuck, but there's just something about the guy so far, he just looks a cut above your typical rookie.

I think people don't get what we meant about being more disappointed in losing him to the trade than Ayton. Nobody's saying he's 100% going to be better than Ayton, or even close to as good. But the point is we were prepared to lose Ayton, it was clearly what Ayton wanted. We were not prepared to lose our only young prospect we were high on.

Damn straight it was. I couldn't believe we gave up Toumani in the deal. Pretty much the entire fanbase was high on him.

Dude looks NBA ready, plays with confidence and hustle, plays good defense, and is very athletic. He also improved every year he was in college which is always a good sign, and even developed a 3pt stroke. He has the build of a prototypical modern NBA PF. I could definitely see him being the steal of the draft.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't at least become a good rotation player.

Some people are really sleeping on how much the Suns roster has been upgraded since last year. Yeah Ayton to Nurk is a downgrade, but that's about it. And it's not like we need a great center for what we're going to be doing anyways. Nurk is serviceable for our needs and if history has shown anything with Vogel coaching bigs, it's that Vogel should be able to get the most out of him.

Last playoffs what did we see? KD and Book trying to do everything, having to completely carry the team because nobody could even hit open corner 3's. Ayton wasn't showing up anyways and CP3 was useless. Now we went from iirc 3 guys who could hit 3's at an average to above average rate, to like 10. Not to mention KD getting a full season with the team this time to get max chemistry, and it helps that his guy Yuta is there too.

And Beal as a 3rd option is crazy. Yeah maybe you don't want him as a #1 option if you're trying to win a chip. But he's still a guy who's shown to be able to put up 50+ points and average 30ppg in the past. Having a 3rd option with those kind of capabilities is nuts. We'll be able to have at least 1-2 of Book, KD, and Beal on the court at the same time all game without giving them too many minutes. That's huge.

My main concern is health. If this team stays healthy I have no doubt they'll be significantly better than last season.
