The worst part is that he just lays on the ground begging for a call he won’t get after clearly flopping. A ton of players flop but how entitled and spoiled do you have to be to lay down and act hurt as the other team is pushing the ball in transition?

Literally the only Warriors players getting big minutes who are shooting above average from 3 are Dario Saric (38%) and Draymond (46%, but he’s only 11/24 on the season and being left open). Klay is up to 36%, but CP is only 33% and Wiggins is a pathetic 27% lol. So he’s getting fewer playmaking opportunities, while also having his teammates shoot poorly when he passes to them. I’m sure Dray and CP’s assists are boosted substantially because they can pass to Steph. The Warriors really don’t have a great roll-man either, so Steph is just stuck passing to sub-par shooters and a slumping Klay.

Steph’s on-off numbers are negative but still the best of the starting lineup. He’s -2, Klay and Dray are a -3 and Wiggins is -7.5 lmao. CP3 is a +5.6, it almost makes me wonder if Kerr should just bench Wiggins and start CP and Steph together, then have Steph anchor the bench units while CP rests.

The assists are down because of CP3. He’s playing off ball more when he plays with CP, who has started about half the games this season.

The turnovers are fueled by dementia that’s been spurred on by his old age

Poole and Wiggins played above their heads. GP2 was great too.

But also I think this is a ridiculous post. Last year the Warriors made it to the conference semis, and this year they’ll probably at least make the playoffs. This is a team full of old or aging stars, inconsistent young guys, and Andrew Wiggins. Of course players get worse as they get deeper into their 30’s, that doesn’t mean they were never good lol

In 2021 the Bucks won the finals, then in 2022 they lost in the conference finals, then in 2023 they lost in 5 games in the first round. Does that retroactively make the 2021 season weak?

Shaq would do it as a Laker for sure in my opinion. Not sure if Chuck would choose Phoenix or Philly, but probably Philly

There’s a difference between rooting for the home team (basically every broadcast crew) and being such an insufferable homer that you believe your team can do no wrong and the away team is always wrong.

He would’ve been a great player on any team, but there’s no doubt in my mind that playing with Steph did a ton for him. He got way more open looks than most shooters of his caliber would because of Steph.

I think he’d still have been an elite or very good 3/D guy on most teams, but idk if people would view him as a top 5 shooter ever. Ben Taylor did a podcast ranking the best shooters ever and I think he had Klay at number 9 because his 3pt shooting percentage when Steph was off the court was “only” like 38%.
