Some of these guys seem to forget that they’re playing a game. Professionally and for a lot of money, no doubt, but you’re not soldiers in a platoon fighting a war.

It’s crazy to declare Buffalo’s Super Bowl window closed. They still have Josh Allen, who is having a bad year but still a top QB, and a lot can happen in a short period of time. Maybe they have a great draft, or a few players have career years next season, and just like that they’re contending for the title.
What we’re really talking about are the elite QBs of the league. Coming into the season, people would’ve said that’s Mahomes, Allen, Herbert and Burrow. Mahomes and Allen are having down years, Herbert is good but his team doesn’t win much, and Burrow is out.
Next year, all these guys could have stellar seasons, and then you have guys like Hurts, Lamar, Purdy and Stroud as well. It’s not as bad as it seems right now.
