The bills window will never close with a qb like Josh Allen. It will change from a solid window to one like Marino had his whole career. They have a chance but the team has to first make it to the playoffs & then overpreform in the playoffs.

“Good teams can have a bad season and rebound next season” is a narrative that doesn’t get talked about enough
But that would mean we can’t make fun of them for being washed
Bills have some important players getting older and their drafts haven't hit enough. This isn't a run it back situation for them.
Happened to us kinda
i mean yall just got injured alot so there was an excuse
It’s amazing really how short people’s sights are. The rams and 49ers have been having on and off years for the past 5-6 years, both would also have been considered to have great success over that time
While I do think the bills will be fine I think on and off for the niners isn’t really true. 2020 was the only off year
2020 niners
Kind of how Philly has been for over 20 years now. I don't recall any consecutive losing seasons (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
A strong FO can keep things from falling apart.
Coaching changes and a better draft spot. I’m fine with this
Lol yeah we will, our remaining schedule is rough even if we were playing well
I wouldn't panic I think 10-7 is still very feasible
Jets - W
at Eagles - L
at Chiefs - W (Chiefs still are struggling on offense)
Cowboys - L (Winnable game depending on how dak plays)
at Chargers - W (Allen still will shred shitty defenses)
Patriots - W
at Dolphins - W (Bad defense + 48-20 game 1)
Damn. I was hoping they could complete the NFCE Quadfecta.
Time for everyone to accept what this team is: a talented football roster with poor coaching and aging pieces of the nucleus who need replaced. Under different leadership this team is somewhere around 7-2/6-3 right now. Ousting Dorsey is a temporizing measure before ultimately the whole regime changes over and fresh ideas can possibly take the Bills to the promised land. Bills Super Bowl 2026 baby
!remindme 2 months
Close the window sounds dramatic, but yeah this is probably a lost season. Brutal schedule left.
Bills LOVE playing down and up to their competition. For example see Dolphins game and compare that to Giants, Pats, Bucs, Broncos. In some insane way I’m relieved to see them face way better competition
The window closed with 13 seconds lol
I mean, yeah it's definitely possible for them to finish with a losing record based on the remaining schedule.
Jets (lost to them in Week 1)
@ Philly
Bye
@ KC
Dallas
@ LA Chargers
Patriots (lost to them in Week 7)
@ Miami
I'd be surprised if they win another game. Seriously, what reason do I have to be optimistic? Every game now I'm going in expecting them to lose.
Last night changed everything.
Everyone who watched the Vikings last year knew they weren't as good as their 13-3 record and that absolutely no one should be afraid to see them in the playoffs. Bills are on the other side of that spectrum this year. Advanced analytics often paint a clearer picture than just wins and losses and the Bills are definitely better than their record. And, when they make the playoffs they should be a hard out even on the road.
We all know the Bills will never win the Super Bowl. The cigarette smoking man said so.
yeah they are kinda ass this season and that schedule doesnt help

As long as Josh Allen is playing well, the Bills have a chance. They also came into this season as, at best, the third best in the AFC. They haven't shown themselves to be better than the Chiefs or the Bengals.
I still think that they can make the playoffs and win a game or two. Anything can happen as long as you're in the playoffs. You could also get obliterated like we did in our last playoff appearance.
They’re 5-5 with a tough schedule ahead. Losing record? Maybe. I’m not willing to make that prediction yet, though. Plenty of good teams turn it around and find their groove as the season goes on. It’ll be tough, but they can do it, I believe.
Idk man normally yes, but it's now 7 straight weeks of needing to turn it around. I think it finally died last night.
Something is rotten to the core.
Man I swear Allen looks more and more like Favre lately. And not young and good Favre.
i don't think anyone has them dropping both the Jets and Patriots, the Chargers are always good to lose a winnable high stakes game, the Cowboys and Dolphins still haven't beaten a team over .500, the Chiefs look more beatable than they've looked in years, and the Eagles have allowed turnover prone QBs to rip them apart all season.
it's unrealistic to say they win out, but it's also unrealistic to say they go 3-4 to finish the season. maybe a midseason cold streak is just a midseason cold streak and a good team is still a good team after a few losses full of dumb errors at the wrong time. if they get that sub right last night and Lutz misses the field goal, the conversation is completely different. they don't look like the elite team they've been, but to say the window is closing and they are now a losing team is clickbaity overreaction.
I’m just confused. Their OC got all the blame for the turnovers but NONE of the credit for offensive production that did occur? Such a weird firing but to be fair perhaps he wasn’t implementing the right things that did make the offense work consistently. Let’s not pretend the Bills are trash or whatever but something needed to change.
The bills could not win another game this season and I’d still say closing the Super Bowl window is dramatic. Super Bowl caliber teams have off years. Obviously not the same caliber, but the 02 patriots went 9-7 and missed the playoffs in their 01-04 stretch which had 3 Super Bowl seasons.
Whether or not the bills are in a seasonal slump or their window is actually closed remains to be seen, but that cannot be determined by one season alone.
Circle the wagons?
Nobody circles the drain like the Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen has a lot of good years left. This is over dramatic
Fair bit of a overreaction going on to this. Broncos played well. The same Broncos that took a historic spanking a few weeks ago. Any given Monday, and all that.
What a stupid take. As a Packers fans, even with Favre and Rodgers at QB, we still had down years and always eventually rebounded. It'll likely be the same situation for the Bills with Allen at QB.
Allen is over rated but still good. There's maybe 2 qbs in the league rn that make you a playoff team alone and Allen isn't one of them.
Next year Trump will die of a heart attack, NE will get back on top of the AFC, the Bills will resume their spot at the bottom and the world will simply return to how things were in the before times.
This seasons done. But we had a ton of bad injury luck, a ton of bad turnover luck, and on top of all that shitty coaching. I don't know how any teams would survive losing the players we lost.
I'd love to get someone like Ben Johnson, grab some offensive talent...cut out old dead weight contracts and go again next year

Bills Superbowl winners confirmed.
I feel like Josh Allen is the new Phillip Rivers. They win some good games, Allen puts up good stats year after year, they make the playoffs more often than not. But at the end of the day. They can’t get it done.
If you watched them play Cincy it should have been obvious. They can't keep up with the Bengals offense at all and that offense when healthy is a top 5 offense. Buffalo has a poor defense and a turnover laden offense. They've got no chance at topping the division let alone conference.
They can probably make it to the playoffs at 10-7.
They have guaranteed wins against Patriots and Jets coming up.
And although a tough task, they only need to win 3 out of 5 from their their tough opponents, eagles, chiefs, dolphins, chargers, cowboys.
It might look gloom now because they are coming off a tough loss, but this is still Josh Allen we’re talking about. The same Josh Allen is that can get hot at any time. At the end of the day, they are a dangerous team that can give any team a run for their money.
What does this mean? This year’s window? Is that even a term?
At least Josh Allen can finally live out his childhood dream of opening a bakery.
The question is-was it ever really open?
Bullshit
The Super Bowl window will be open as long as Josh is the QB. I understand everything has to be clickbait but let’s settle down.
