I’ve had this idea before. I named the fictional business “Spoiled Bachelor”

The default iPhone app and sign-up process for the main instance is pretty darn straight-forward. I’ve never been a Twitter guy so I can’t speak to functionality, but it seems fine to me already.

It’s really nice to see a normal person resisting fascism instead of just magical space wizards.

…or voted for Harris.

American political lexicon is stunted (probably deliberately). I volunteered my time and donated my money for Bernie’s campaign, and prefer to go by “progressive” since it hits the main points and has an actual caucus in Congress.

The conservatives I know call me a liberal (if they’re feeling nice), but they also know it’s not accurate, they’re just trying to sow chaos on the left.

Just solved an issue with transcoding where I had to delete the codec. It redownloads on server launch so was an easy fix.

Sports journalists in particular — so annoying that all breaking NFL news goes through Xitter.

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times? You stupid monkey!

There’s been a rash of new accounts posting right-wing garbage the last few weeks. I just block them.

How do you get better at playing the guitar without actually playing the guitar?

(edit): Point taken, but “playing the guitar” still wins by a mile

What’s rough about it? I’ve never been a twitter guy so can’t really compare, but I have a Mastodon account that I pop into periodically, and it works fine.

I have my DKIM CNAME records populated but only 2/3 pass the check. Domain.com:protonmail fails and as a result I can’t setup my third-party DMARC analyzer tool. Protonmail2 and 3 work fine.

Support said “it will eventually generate a key but we can’t do anything.” This is bullshit since the records have existed for a year. They confirmed I set it up correctly.

Anyone run into this issue before?

Might be a dumb question, but I mod a few subs and wanted to clarify something. If I block a random user on my account, will I see their posts in the communities I moderate? It dawned on me that I might be missing bad behavior because I can't see it.
