A QB taking a snap on his knees would be much harder than if he's standing. He would have to hold his hands funny. It would lead to more fumbles than less.

Or maybe, just maybe, most of us would prefer not to see a death on the field.
And QB's are not the ones who should be commenting about violence or lack of it. They're not the ones who are taking the brunt of it.
