Not just many cases, but all cases.

Except the cases that think without words and translate afterwards. A common pattern in Autism and Aspergers.

And it’s not unreasonable to expect that well-spoken, articulate individuals are also clear thinkers.

Yeah no. Aren't there some workshops for CEO's and managers & co. who try to learn the creative thinking of neurodiverses? Because we usually think without words, we "translate" afterwards.
Thinking is actually more efficient without language. I don't know of any neurotypicals who think about deep physics for fun.

What was the last version of Windows you used before hopping on over?

Windows 7

So what's your reasoning for the change to the reliable and funni penguin OS?

After years of heavily customizing and debloating Windows, i got the itch to create a custom ISO. At that point i realized, Linux would be less work.

Had to use 10 in work, there i used Chocolatey and scoop to manage my (t)rusty toolset.

We are trained to see file extensions and understand them, but the masses aren't.

My computer-iliterate dad is on Debian XFCE since 2 years now. The first year, he thought it was the new Windows. File extensions didn't bother him in the slightest.

Why ATX when you can go MiniITX?

I do have an Ryzen 7 5700G in my DeskMini A300. But had to cut a hole in the case for the cooler.

Btw, i never saw server side appps. Is it limited for now?

that it seems the age of ARM desktops is upon us

But what for? It's just as proprietary as x86 and drivers are more of an issue.

On the other hand, I think lightness is a thing people care about.

Yeah, my Galaxy S3 is half as heavy as my current phone. It couldn't do less but had superior battery life. Smartphones and their OS all have grown bloated.

[–] MonkderDritte@feddit.de 4 points 4 months ago

Ah no, more battery life isn't because of the ARM chip. Not with general usage, outside of minimal instruction set use.

Should that building represent layers of windows?
