Maybe this sad old guy would look at things differently if he had a little black in him, if you get what I mean 🤣

I read the whole report, and there was no mention of the Bill Gates microchips or 5G.

The cover-up continues.....

A question for Americans.

In some other countries, eg Australia, if the 'President' becomes unpopular, their own party can vote them out and replace them during a term of office. It's rare, but happens with bad polling, and ambitious politicians.

Is that possible in the US? ie the Republicans could vote out Trump and replace him with Vance? Or could it only be done via impeachment etc, and would have to be voted on by everyone in the House/Senate?

The number of places that expect you to download their app to do business with them, or sign up with them, is beyond disturbing.

I now actively try to make their life difficult. I'll ring up,.or try to order at the counter. I had a table at one place, and rang up and ordered pick up. Better service than I was getting lol

And then I pull out my wallet and try to pay with cash and all hell breaks loose 🤣

I shit you not. I have seen red MAGA caps here in Australia, and they are not on US tourists.

I can't even......

You forgot that Trump will pre-emptively pardon himself and everyone involved, and so nobody will ever be held accountable or face any consequences.

So many interviews devolve into:

"Why do you want to work for this company?"

Which is code for

"Just how desperate for this job are you?"

"Claude, write me a recursive AI prompt, then execute it."

"I'll be leaving for the day. Notify me if anything changes."

Hope everyone stays safe and cool. Remember: have a plan, leave early if you can. Catastrophic is not a recommendation. GTFO.

Anyways, anytime I start talking weather with someone, I can't help but have certain songs run through my head. The Heatwave Mix is an open zone for song recommendations that have at least one line that talk about weather/temperature. Please post the line and a link to the song.

I'll kick off the hotness with a line that always gets stuck in my head : I walk about in the summertime saying "How about this heat!".

Now, once we hear that, the next recommended song says I should get my funk on and "Keep my cool!"

OK, this is not actually from rage, but it is Ozmusic. I was going down a rabbit hole that took me eventually to the Choirboys, generally known as a classic 80s rock/pub band.

They had several bangers, including what was the unofficial Queenslanders anthem, at least in Surfers.

But what made me double take was how few views/listens.were on their official Choirboys channel.

Some personal faves:

Happy listening! Bust out that air guitar!

"What the public doesn’t know is that the fundamental assumption of radiation safety and regulation simply isn’t true. This is the case against Linear No-Threshold."

I found this video getting more interesting the further it went on. No relationship between cancer and radiation? And cancer rates go down for those with radiation exposure? You may be radiation deficient?

I use old.reddit.com, and had trouble logging in from there today. "Too many redirects". I also use the Redirect to old.reddit.com extension. When I disabled that, the login link it now takes you to is https://www.reddit.com/login/. That, of course, takes you to www.reddit.com.

The old 'popup' login box has been removed. I also noticed that the in sub logins where they used to have username/password entry boxes have been removed.

More reddit enshitification to try and make us use their horrible UI.
