Since the two analyses give different results we can't say who gained ground and who lost it, but either way the fact that most union workers voted for Harris, despite her unpopularity with low-income people. It's simply not possible to blame union workers for the results in this election. I mean the second article you linked is pretty clear on why Harris didn't get the 100% you seem to be expecting.

Uh... Am I the only one worried that proto-slurs are being upvoted on the Fediverse?

Um... Union workers voted for Harris. Like seriously look it up before speaking.

These union workers don't have an economic anxiety

My man I'm sorry but this is the stupidest take I've seen this month. The whole country is anxious about how they'll pay their bills and the Democrats offered nothing to help with that. Trump made (false) promises about the economy and that's how he won.

I mean the DNC was promising... Almost nothing. Say what you want but that lesser evil nonsense is not democracy and there was no way it was ever gonna work.

I'm not sure but isn't that a thing more among Latino immigrants?

I don’t think this was the decider

It's not the only factor, but I think it's a fact that had Arab Americans voted blue in the same numbers as 2020, democrats would've won Michigan. Which wouldn't have fucking mattered because Harris lost before Michigan even finished counting, but yeah.

Khan or better? Nope, definitely not. It's Lina Khan or a corporate suck up.

worse than trump who would keep kahan?

If you think voters compare between the two candidates on every single policy to make a 100% logical choice of who to vote for then I have bad news for you.

They live in the Emirates so life must be very restricted for her.

As a Middle Eastern guy with stereotype-level knowledge about the Emirates, I don't think so. Even if Islam demanded women be restricted in their lives (it doesn't) Emirates is very famous as an "only Muslim on the cover" country. Now we can't really guess anything about her life, but whatever she wants to do, it won't be the country stopping her.

And wages might be growing, but are lagging far behind inflation.

To be very fair real wages grew during Biden's administration, but probably not enough and definitely not for everyone.
