Yah know, I got laid off in 2014 and it still hurts a little.

I haven’t had windows for 5 or 6 years when I switched to Mac. But earlier this year I bought a cheap Windows 11 machine because Windows was required for a contract I thought I was going to get (but didn’t). I was going to return it but thought meh it might be nice to have a personal laptop I can play around with. But I was unimpressed with Windows 11 so much that it mostly gathers dust now.

I’m thinking this is the perfect opportunity to take the plunge into Linux. Has anyone on here used Linux and have any advice?

Yah I don’t think we should either.

Yeah but you don’t understand. That information was not in the headline so there was no possible way of knowing about it.

What a tragic loss. For the bee community.

Capitalizing on the suffering of others is literally United Health’s entire business model.

The men where I live don’t seem to buy into the idea of toxic masculinity. They’re fashion conscious, spend a lot of time on their hair and if they don’t carry a “man bag” per se, then they’re likely to at least be spotted holding their GF’s purse. A lot of guys do cardio, not a lot do bodybuilding. Most men ride Vespa scooters and cars with fart cannon mufflers are not unheard of, but vanishingly rare. Gigantic pickup trucks are nonexistent.

But even here the most popular men’s body wash variety is “charcoal.” 😂

So, China likes 2-state solutions?

That’s a good 80% of the monstrous pickups in my neighborhood.

The ad was paid for by the Barbers Hill Education Foundation, which has contact information on their website. I sure hope nobody decides to tell them how they feel about this.

Leopards, face-eating, and whatnot.

He said they used AI to fake it. I don’t know if they did or not, but I feel like that’s going to be the new, “someone hacked my phone and posted that,” any time someone gets caught saying something dumb.
