I don't think I've encountered one Musk based post in the three months I've been on here. Maybe it's the communities you're subscribed to?

Yeah I should have emphasized that the string is perfectly taught, has no slack, isn't affected by things like the wind and can't break.
Iirc Kbin.Social got defederated from Lemmy.World.
I think Valve just said that there's no plans for a more powerful model in the next year or two. Granted that leaves room for a better display or battery.
I wouldn't worry though. I adore my Steamdeck.
Serious question. Why?
It's made my Steam collection viable again. I had to box up the PC when we had our second kid, and with it went 400+ games. The Deck has totally gotten me back into that ecosystem again, which is surely what Valve want.
On a personal level it's totally killed my Switch off (Nintendo exclusives aside). I also find myself playing most of my games on the 'Deck right now, because having the flexibility is apparently something I really enjoy.
I know, but I've got bills to pay and kids to feed. I worked for 15 years in the same place, it wasn't horrible until the end. Then I changed it up, working more hours and earning more money but I feel like this place is taking significantly more out of me than the old place did; or maybe I just don't have as much time to recover now I've got 2 kids instead of 1.
I hate my job. I hate how it dictates my life and how despite working a 50 hour week (and my partner working 20 hours) we still barely afford to make rent and feed our kids, but I'm not sure how we'd escape this nightmare short of winning the lottery.
I wouldn't put this on my CV, because employers would likely think I'm taking the piss, but my most saleable asset is that I can take an awful lot of crap before I ultimately walk out.
I run both !currentlyplaying@feddit.uk and !photomode@feddit.uk
Currently Playing is a place to discuss what you're currently playing and Photo-Mode is a place to share in game screenshots and photographs you've taken whilst playing.
Sorry if the links are messed up. I've got no idea the right way to link at this point. The whole system seems a bit of a mess.
Your buddy buys you a new disk....
Oxenfree messed me up when I played it a few years ago. It's got this super eerie vibe to it that really ratchets up the tension and sense of dread.
A game I played recently might do the job too, it's called Signalis. It plays a bit like a 2D Resident Evil game, but with a slightly more interesting story.
