My point being that there are many other complications most people don’t really need (like knowing the speed of a vehicle or timing a dive)… yet here we are on r/watches where we embrace all sorts of quirky watches.

I can’t say I have much use for my tachymeter watch either, but here we are!

Thanks, man! Very much enjoying it. Check it out if you ever get the chance.

Fair - as you can tell by these comments alone, this watch is a bit polarizing. All the more reason I like it. IMO, I find it a lot more interesting to look at than something like a plain blue 5711. (Not that I’d ever turn down a 5711…)

Tbh I’d pay the money not to know that…

Try one on — I promise it’s not as big as it looks in that photo. I just suck at photography and angles!

Not at all. I have watches ranging a 34mm to 42mm and think this one works well for what it is.

I read somewhere it’s a not to the Chinese luopan compass but admittedly have not fact-checked.

Just googled that one. What a cool watch!

First Patek — inquired a few months ago expecting quite a wait but got the call faster than anticipated. Weighs nothing, fits every strap type. Highly recommended for all considering the brand!

(It’s also nice having a watch that reminds me when it’s Wednesday, my dudes.)
