I can’t say I have much use for my tachymeter watch either, but here we are!

Allegedly, Thierry Stern liked the mockup so much that he said they should keep the handwriting touch as well: https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fbucketeer-e05bbc84-baa3-437e-9518-adb32be77984.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F17a8556e-bb6f-4593-85d4-96c329ab4106_1070x1364.png
Thanks, man! Very much enjoying it. Check it out if you ever get the chance.
Fair - as you can tell by these comments alone, this watch is a bit polarizing. All the more reason I like it. IMO, I find it a lot more interesting to look at than something like a plain blue 5711. (Not that I’d ever turn down a 5711…)
Tbh I’d pay the money not to know that…
Try one on — I promise it’s not as big as it looks in that photo. I just suck at photography and angles!
Not at all. I have watches ranging a 34mm to 42mm and think this one works well for what it is.
I read somewhere it’s a not to the Chinese luopan compass but admittedly have not fact-checked.
Just googled that one. What a cool watch!
My point being that there are many other complications most people don’t really need (like knowing the speed of a vehicle or timing a dive)… yet here we are on r/watches where we embrace all sorts of quirky watches.
