I'm potentially looking for a partner to do business with. I am/was a software developer but I'm now 100% into entrepreneurship. So I figured why not combine my two skills?

If someone is interested in creating an app or has an idea, but needs someone who knows how to program.. let's have a chat.

I would've continued with what you're doing, Youtube Automation. Or something else with Youtube. This is most likely very long term though.

I would advice to look at what you enjoy, or get a hobby if you can't find anything, and build a business around that. For example I like driving cars on track, and I now make car parts for track cars. If you can fill a gap then you have a high chance to succeed.

Since you're doing CS, you can also try to get into game making. Maybe make youtube videos around that. Lots of options really.

You're still young and you probably live at home so now is the time to try things, by the time you finish school and get a job you're already stuck.

Do you get to browse reddit or do you choose to browse reddit?

I was in the same situation. If I could, I would get back ALL of the years I wasted in school.

The common agreement on this sub seems to be “finish college, get experience as an employee, THEN build your business.”

There is a massive flaw in this agreement, and it's that you can't stop being an employee after you've finished school and "settled".

You are still young, you probably live with your parents. You can try everything you want. Try to build a business now, why the hell not? Trying is not a risk, not trying is a risk.

What if you don't get to the top?
