It's not that bad. Bitwig studio plus ya ridge works pretty good. Also: no Tux no bux

OSS is heavily undermaintained, always has been. But the world hasn't exploded from it yet (somehow).

Devs also need to consider if they want to port stuff to a different architecture.

I think stability is a huge factor. Just yesterday, my laptop shit off without any forewarning. There is still too much random issues that seemingly have no reason.

Understandable. The best I can think of is using syncthing with playlist files. Tell us if you find something good.

I'm Selfhosting Jellyfin (navidrome too, but I think I like Jellyfin more), so it's all central on my homeserver.

If we just used UTC people on Europe could sleep from 23:00 to 7:00, people from Japan could sleep from 15:00 to 22:00 and so on. There would be no need to "localize" time.

Good comment. Thanks!

Isn't the second defined by light traveling a specific distance in vacuum?

To add to that, I wish we all just used UTC. Time zones are useless, we could all just adjust to the universal time in local schedules.

Also: english could be renamed to common and it would make sense.
