However, there was no warhead attached, meaning there was never any danger to the community.
Bellevue Police Department spokesman Seth Tyler, told BBC News on Friday that the device was "just basically a gas tank for rocket fuel".
He called the event "not serious at all".
"In fact, our bomb squad member asked me why we were releasing a news release on a rusted piece of metal," he said.

I have a framework, pretty happy with it - Arch installed without any hitches and runs well. Only downside is how long it took to go from deposit to actually paying/shipping.

The 60 days of employment is a requirement of the WARN act (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worker_Adjustment_and_Retraining_Notification_Act_of_1988)

When employees are laid off at Google, they lose access to any systems, can't contact co-workers in the usual manner, etc.

Google severance has been increasing worse since they had their first 12,000 employees get laid off.

"Let businesses decide how much parking they need, instead of big government"

Doesn't seem very tricky to me. Businesses can invest less into infrastructure that isn't used that just absorbs solar radiation all day, and build larger businesses, or purchase less land, so that it can be more efficiently used.

"The city of Chicago is openly proclaiming itself as a bike-friendly city. Is that an indication of the city's intent?" Justice Liz Rochford asked a lawyer for the city.

"No, your honor," replied Stephen Collins, Chicago's assistant corporation counsel.

Any lie necessary to avoid reasonable infrastructure. Especially with bicycles banned on the sidewalk.
Stop stealing all the taxpayer money, and provide the bare fucking minimums.

Why?

I see the more realistic probability of the car picking up and then dropping off a passenger, and then picking up another. I don't think customers would be happy if the car they were riding made their trip longer in order to force them to share the car.
