The law states that if you join .ca, you're legally Canadian. Congrats on your new citizenship!

What country do..I mean did you belong to before you became Canadian?

No porn? Why?

.ca allows porn. You actually have to click "show NSFW" during sign up if you want to see it, so it's not on by default, and it's very easy to turn on/off if you want it.

I find that the instances that ban porn also ban a lot of other stuff that isn't bad. Feels like I'm in church and everything is being censored.

Sorry. I'm just trying not to get evicted due to living in a country with the highest rent, internet, food, and data plan prices.

It literally benefits everyone.

How many hours each day do people take to "wake up" and get going? I'd argue people are mostly useless up until close to lunch time. Then, people wind down when the day end is nearing, meaning companies are losing more productive hours each week.

I also would prefer to do longer days if I already dragged my ass out of bed. I don't run for errands daily to make them shorter. I pile them up, then take 4-5 hours one day, vs 1 hour each day. I am already out doing it, might as well do them all, and have more time to relax at home other days.

ToS protects them! You agreed to it when you signed up. Also, even if you could fight it and win, unless they are holding millions of dollars, you're going to spend it all on legal fees anyway.

It's insane to store any money in PayPal. If you must use it, use it as a payment method only. That way you're not exposing your credit or debit directly to websites. That's it.

Haven't used PayPal since they locked Notch out of his account in 2009 when Minecraft started blowing up. Can't remember how much money they took from him, but it was a LOT.

Problem where I am is theft.

Public transit is too far away to comfortably use it, and my bike will 100% be stolen if I leave it anywhere.

I'm left with driving. Even if it's a few kilometers down the road. My bike would be stolen while I'm in the grocery store, and walking to the bus and waiting 15+ minutes for the next one to arrive is crazy considering it's a 10 minute drive to start.

Being a climate activist is important.

Being malicious to others is garbage behaviour and you're doing nothing but making sure people actively want to hurt the environment out of spite.

These people also give genuine climate activists a bad name. Reminds me of when extremists ruined the word feminist. It's hard to explain to people that you want women to be treated equal, but you don't hate men and want them to die.

You would like it if you had slow internet, or you hosted a website.

My website turned 5MB images into 100KB images using webp. My website now loads instantly, saves you bandwidth, and me costs!

This is why I still wear a mask. It's so easy to slap on, and I've avoided COVID so far. Everyone around me seems to have long COVID side effects, from brain fog to heart issues.

Oddly enough, those dealing with really shitty long COVID symptoms keep bullying me about wearing my mask lol. Like I'm sorry I don't want to end up in the situation you're currently in.
