36, The Apple Watch inspired me to buy a real analog watch, because I realized that I really despise the AW at my core. I was going to a wedding and thought to myself it was the absolute last thing I wanted with me. Nowadays I have a Garmin that I wear for workouts and activities where I don’t want to damage an expensive watch. Analog watches the rest of the time.

 

I’m interested in buying a pre-owned Speedmaster of some variety, and Japanese sellers consistently come up as having especially low prices with good photos. They don’t tend to have a service history or any real info about the watches. So what do I need to know before purchasing from these sellers? Anything to look out for or avoid?

I’ll just toss the Protek Field Titanium into the mix.
