IDK cause I use Adguard DNS and the DDG app. I never see ads anywhere

Why? I love Shorts! Takes me back to the days of early YouTube, when not everything had to be a 30+ minute video and you could still discover small unknown channels just from browsing. Shorts is the best thing to happen to YouTube since they added HD support back in 2010.

Please explain yourself.

Are you able to guarantee that your email service will still be around a year from now? Or five years from now? Or twenty?

Not trying to hate, just want to make sure before I create an account and start using your service for literally everything. If you one day decide to shut down and I lose access to my primary email address, I'm screwed.

I've tried several times but it is extremely difficult to get a straight answer out of her. The conversation is always one-sided. I'll ask her how I can make her happy and get silence as a response.

She's one of those people who doesn't know what they want (but surely knows what she doesn't want).

Communication is key in a healthy relationship

People always tell me this and honestly I'm tired of trying. She's not the communication type, so my attempts go nowhere.

I've shown her similar memes in the past (especially ADHD memes) but she never understands them and I'm left frustrated. She still thinks the "odd" things I do are done simply to annoy her. I'm convinced that neurodivergence is just one of those things that you can never understand nor relate to unless you have it.

ADHD person here living with a normie girlfriend and apparently it's not. She gets so upset when I add my own personal anecdotes to the conversation, but when I sit there in silence she accuses me of not listening.

Guys I don't know what to do.

Probably cause real athletes don't drink Gatorade. Too much sugar and not enough potassium. Electrolyte beverages and coconut water are more common among athletes.

The people who are drinking 2+ liters a day aren't drinking any water. Soda is literally the only form of hydration they get. I know it sounds unbelievable but I used to know people who lived like this. Personally I wouldn't last a day before my body starts demanding water. I don't know how they do it.

Also phones get so many notifications these days that the light has mostly lost its meaning. Last time I had a phone with one was around 2018 and the light was pretty much blinking at all times.

To be fair, Panera has always labeled the caffeine content of its drinks. Problem is that people don't read the god damn label on the machine, forcing Panera to make it bigger and more obvious.

[–] Psythik@lemm.ee 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Forget the article; go to an actual Panera. The amount of caffeine is clearly labeled right under the name of the drink. To be fair, their drinks contain way too much, but you can't say that they don't already make the label clear and easy to interpret. People are idiots who don't read the label beyond the "lemonade" part.

Quite the opposite, actually. Because of AI, I got back into web development for the first time in 20 years. I'd never be able to figure out the new stuff like HTTPS and DDoS protection on my own if it weren't for ChatGPT's help. It got me up to speed on HTML5, and helped me remember how PHP and Javascript work, all within a couple of days. Would have taken months otherwise.

You should be using AI as a tool to expand your creativity, not feel hindered by it.
