its called luma ai, i use there discord client and currently its free.

i recently found an ai that makes 3d models from text. ive been messing around with it a tiny bit but now i have a handful of 3d models that im not sure what to do with. the bad thing is i have like no skills and they are not the best looking either. i would 3d print them but i dont own a 3d printer because they are pricey.

so like what can i do with 3d models?

im gonna kinda blabber here.

you ever just want to do something for your interest just to change the next day also what is that called? i have autism, dyslexia, depression and im constantly bored for some reason. i find that im hard to entertain or to find something to do plus i struggle with learning. i really want to create something that i can share with others, maybe a short story? honestly im not sure. i feel like i need a creative hobby and things like sewing or anything to do with fabric dont interest me because i believe i may be a nerd. ive been wanting to do something from a my pc possibly but at this point im not sure anymore. i like dnd but i dont have friends to play with and i dont trust online activities.

Im looking into possibly starting a community, but what do you think lemmy needs added? or it it better to do whatever i want? what do you think and please explain dont just reply with one word. Is this the wrong place to post something like this.

also i can only make one community so i dont get overwhelmed.

do you know how i can import them into daz?

How do i get daz3d content for free, i know there is the weekly free stuff but that is manly random things i believe are not selling. I've noticed daz3d stuff can get pricey real fast and i dont have the money for that.

So is there a way to get free content and put it into daz3d? ive tried something like this in the past but when i imported the items it had a hard time reading them, so it dident work.

im very sorry but i cant afford a vpn because im a teen with no job and my family dosent see the point in using vpns unless your part of a big company, which annoys me at times.

thank you for all this info.

well ill do my best to follow your order but do i need a vpn?

Im very paranoid about getting into piracy and im not sure if i should or it or not but there are so many things i want that i cant afford.

is there a secure linux os that i can use without a vpn? im pretty use to windows 10 but i was told linux mint is good for this kind of stuff, is that true?

[–] QuietStorm@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

if i go with linux or linux mint do i need a vpn or something or am i good without one? sorry if im being paranoid.

[–] QuietStorm@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago (5 children)

ok ill give linux a try then but is there a certain version of linux you would suggest? one person suggest mint btw. if i go with Linux do i need a vpn or am i good without one?

i use windows because its the only os i know how to use. i want to get into things like torrenting because free stuff is cool but im afraid to. ive heard of tails os, a os that boots from a flash drive, is that worth checking out or should i stick with windows?

what is your advice? what should i do?

it could be possible, but like you said it won't be easy, i wonder if there is something else or if i should invest in something? im not sure.

Im looking for something like comic life 3 but preferably open source. i would like to put ai generated images or photos into a comic with ease but with the power of open source or free. is there a software like this that lets you just drag and drop images and it helps make a comic or something? also im not a fan of free trials, watermarks, and those annoying things like that.

So i struggle with learning new things but i think i can manage but its hard because it feels like i need someone to hold my hand or give me a powerpoint about something new. im dying to make a video game or something and i think maybe visual novels are the way to go because i also want to tell a story even if its lame. my interest seem to change alot but how do i learn renpy without getting overwhelmed? i havent even open the software yet because im afraid of failing also ive only used a little of unreal engine 4 intill i relised it was overheating my pc and its slow. ive probably used something else like scratch but i forgot.

Hello im a teen i guess and ive never had a friend before and im not sure how to make any, but that another story. i know there is ironsworn, but i would most likely get yelled at for printing something the size of a book from my family printer. i would probably see something large and get daunted, im kinda a noob because the only game ive played is dnd and i cant stand online games. So i guess im up for suggestions also i dont have money to spend, and i feel like my family woundent want to buy something for me unless it was a boardgame... also ive heard of the site itch but it seems most of their games require a group or a team.

feel free to add on to this but please be kind or suggest something if you wish too.

Is this a thing because ive been trying to get into gamedev but i cant code at all and ive been trying for so long now but i just cant. I know theres godot but there visual scripting makes so sense and can be strange at times.

ive seen people create games with ai but i feel like that kinda ruins the point of gamedev. Im not even sure why i want to make a game but i just do for some reason.

by chance do you have any suggestions or things you would like to add.

Emperor said there is a video limit, is that true? also, do i need a good pc or a good mic to get started, or something like those?

[–] QuietStorm@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

is there a peertube instance with no limits by chance, or should i just go with YouTube?

So i still have depression and im constantly bored, i feel like a loser who cant do anything right. I want to let my creativeness out, make something i can share with the world or family, but im probably dreaming too big. I cant stand being depressed and bored, it stinks, everyone tells me to work out but i lack the motivation to do so.

i usually just watch youtube all day while complaining to family members that have no idea what to do about me.

I know some things about both, but im still confused for some reason. Like what is the difference between peertube and youtube, which is better?

I was thinking of getting into one of theses for video creation but im not sure which would be better as a sort of hobby? also do i need a powerful pc or a good microphone to get started? is it better to record with or without your voice?

Feel free to add on to this, but please be kind.
