Try NCAA Basketball and you will learn to hate Refs lol I know they don’t but it’s like they intentionally get in my shots and I have full access to where ever I want to shoot as long as I’m not on the actual court.

My last game I saved about 25 shots, my team lost bad and I lost interest in trying to get great shots of a loss. If you got 300 I’d say you did great.

Shoot low F stop, I shoot f/2.8 and try to focus on just the action, not what the team is doing. I do a lot of cropping also.

I like SmugMug for ease of use and delivery and the price can’t be beat.

You’re getting screwed by either one. Try to sell it on FB Marketplace first.

Ok that makes sense. I have seen people talk about similar requirements for high school sports to get entry into the school. Thanks.

I see certs brought up occasionally, I shoot some NCAA & USA Track & Field National Championships and have never had a cert or been asked for any. Can you elaborate? If you can’t say then that’s ok. Thanks.

Dang that’s incredible, need any help lol.

A full frame camera that’s made for sports would really help you.

Wow, I shoot US T&F and thought 3000 photos was a bunch. I have to shoot RAW so processing time is hard between downloading and then uploading and the director wanting the tape break shots instantly and me with an hour drive home. It’s hectic but nothing like you do.

I do tons of Sports but there is very little money in Sports around here anyways. Even NCAA level sports have no budget for photography.

I took a job a year ago to capture the human connection at our local week long festival, they wanted vendor/customer interaction and not just a bunch of merchandise pics. I’d never done anything like that but they loved what they got and I was hired this year but with a bigger role with lots more photos requested including covering a concert.

The RF 24-70 f/2.8 is first now days followed closely by my RF 70-200 f/2.8.

Last year I shot a Track & Field National Championship race with the same lens. I have a 24-70 f/2.8 now but I do miss the 24-105 occasionally.
