That exodus could also very well be people who came from out of state to work and now that work is paused they have to head back to their home state because they don't have money.

As someone who's first job was washing dishes, I would argue it's more than 3 times if it's even a moderately busy restaurant. I have a cushy office job now and hands downs I still think waiters work insanely hard, especially because they're on their feet all day.
Dude same here. I usually say stuff along the lines of 'yea it took me forever the first time to figure it out' or 'it's a common issue that a lot of people have, I'll get it sorted in a sec for you no problem'. Make it seem like they're not stupid, regardless of the truth and then fix it, keeps em happy and more willing to cooperate with you as well.
I also talk through what I'm doing and if they show interest I'll teach them so they can fix it in the future, 'ah I've seen this before, took me like a hour to figure it out on my computer, for me it was a chrome update that broke how downloaded files open. Here let me right click the file, and go to open with, we hit Adobe pdf and check the always open with this program button, that should do it let's test it out. OK seems like its good to go. Same reason why higher end car companies advertise heavily in league of legends which is played by mostly younger people who don't have much money yet. Sure there are some that can afford to buy those cars but also some kids who'll grow into careers where they eventually be able to afford those cars.

Dude fucking same. I uploaded a 5 minute clip of my buds and I at a league of legends tournament we were participating at and it got striked because someone was playing a shitty song in the background for 30 seconds while we talked over it. Some minor who's who artist. It was low quality audio too, they must have an amazing system to be able to pick it out from all the rest of the noise.
