No device should get confused for that. Are you really sure its not the router getting confused and selecting an oversaturated channel?

This is a very old image, so extremely likely real or manually edited.
Only game I had to do that was for Tabletop Simulator due to a memory leak in the Linux release due to my colossal amount of subscribed Workshop items. But other than that, if there is a Linux release then that's my go to one!
That's actually something I have not thought about at all, despite having used DroidCam a lot in the past.
Unfortunately I am banned from Aliexpress. But I did find one with bad reviews on Wish.

Federated shortcut
The new Diablo works perfectly in Wine/Proton. Battle.NET has a chance to need some tinkering, but works. In case, there is an automated script to install multiple 3rd party launchers in Steam via Proton meant for the Steam Deck, but of course there is no reason they won't work on a desktop Linux.
I don't own Diablo, but I had to setup Battle.NET to install Heroes of the Storm. Can say there wasn't much to talk about.
