McDonald's gives more benefits than the average entry level job here (and sometimes even slightly higher pay per hour) where people actually fight to get in and who gets in will not let go.

Also, they are forced to adhere to strict food quality rules so everything must be done by other certified bodies.

But of course low/no competition on jobs and less regulations are gonna be exploited by companies that size, and I am sure they wish they could cut costs here too.

A 20 McNuggets box at McDonalds Italy is 11.80 Euros. Can fill you up on protein for the day by themselves, but they are not cheap. They have a surprisingly very low amount of saturated fats despite being fried. You can get a frozen 1kg bag of them at the local supermarket for around 9 Euros (the MC box is 350g).
