I am guessing it is due to politics inherently being a skulduggery kind of thing, especially with mainstream media being in the pocket of the wealthy. If our news outlets had a reputation of being fair and truthful, their wording wouldn't be treated with suspicion.

As an American, I have to turn many statements like a rotisserie and think whether they make sense. They cannot be trusted if left raw.

I am hoping that she does this to them...

If this is "plotting", then I am all for this "villain" to win. The wording of the headline implies that AOC is a bad thing, when we got...waves at orange fuckwit

Anyhow, if given the choice between AOC and Newsom, AOC all the way.

I think cities are bigger. Hamlet -> Village -> Town -> City -> Metropolis, or something along those lines.

After all the bullshit that the conservatives pulled, I am certainly radicalized all right. My love for the country is conditional on it not being shit.

So far, the vast majority of our leaders deserve the bowl, and in dire need of flushing.

I am autistic. In response to the announcement of RFK's "Wellness Farms", I got into learning how to use a shotgun. Hopefully there will be a Rainbow Panther militia that wouldn't mind having me.

If I am to be put down, I would prefer it to be on a battlefield, than a plantation.

"...this leopard has faces, instead of spots...I'll take it!"

Organizing is the biggest issue, IMO. I don't have much experience with humanity in person. I was raised in a isolated rural territory, and don't have enough money to explore third spaces for likeminded folks about the situation. Figuring out HOW to network is a huge issue if you aren't connected enough to society.

What churches align with justice? Which coffee shops embrace freedom? Among the militias, whom among them are antifa?

While I am practicing a firearm with the expectation of someday serving as a ReUnion soldier against the NeoConfederates, I don't know how to bridge the gap between being an lone individual and part of a Rainbow Panther militia.

It is not "He is a great guy", they are thinking "I wanna be that guy!".

Infinite wealth, paired with the ability to be an asshole without consequence, is what they want to be. The best they can manage is to live vicariously through him.

Being a member of ICE should be a death sentence. Both figurative and literal.

Remember, these are people who tried to send hundreds of children to Guatemala without their families, in the middle of the night.

Honestly, I don't see much of a difference between government and megacorporations. They are powerful entities that can easily overpower most individuals if there are no roadblocks. If the Constitution is rewritten, the terms of the social contract should account for that.

I think that if we don't have civil war, the political sea change will come from Boomers dying of old age, allowing younger generations to slot into their evacuated political and fiscal offices.

IMO, I think there are issues with CalExit that has nothing to do with politics.

My two problems with it is...

A: The signature counter hasn't changed for months, at all. It has been stuck at 210,031 signatures for a long time now. To me, that doesn't instill trust in Marc Ruiz Evans.

B: Why is this petition attached to a "CaliNation" crypto currency? IMO, a crypto currency is supposed to be used as real money, and I don't foresee this particular thing as being that.

There are four days left for the CalExit petition, but I am doubting the legitimacy of the person running it.

Allowing the state of California to research the option of secession is important to preparing for all possibilities, but it feels like Marc Ruiz is unserious about getting this petition through.
