Just yesterday I rented a tld for 2€/year and got it to update via my router's ddns feature using deSEC. Other similar services are available and I think that many domain rental services even offer their own ddns-like update routes.
All in all it wasn't that difficult, really. And imo an own tld is much nicer than having to rely on some subdomain of a ddns service.
So far (and yes, that is after less than one day) I definitely do recommend this.

On top of this, tap water quality is way more regulated than bottled water is, in many places. (European POV)

What they're saying is basically: We have no clue if 3D-printing can cause cancer, but better be careful.

Yeah, I didn't know that before.

Wtf are they talking about. (rhetorical question)

This schmuck tells the world that AI will find a solution to climate change if we were only to let it consume more coal.

We already know exactly what it would take to save the planet.

What we need is people willing to go the way wholeheartedly.

Away with this dude. He serves no purpose to society.

Thanks to this tool I could successfully retrieve the money spent on an SD card from AliExpress. (And yes, I'm a fool for buying one there in the first place.)

A headline that wouldn't have been possible five years ago. Sick.

A cheap IKEA office chair costs less. Although some people would probably pay extra for this one...

$10/month would be cheap if it would cover every movie and show you'd want to watch. It used to be that but nowadays you need about ten different subscriptions in order to get what you want, plus many more if you use SaaS. So you end up paying ~$200/month for everything.
IMO, Spotify still "works" and music piracy probably is not as common as movie piracy, because Spotify has close to everything one would want to listen to.
