Force computer literacy test on every boot/wake of computer. Then we can finally stop wasting eons on buttons forms, positions and colours

Now that should be weighted against the amount of work the rewrite is, among other factors. But anyway the article does not give any specifics

Honestly, I could not make myself read till that critique part. As much as I would like to hear what Rust actually is good for, that article is yet another cheap advertisement

Well, it really is. Went for Rust from Python and gained faster execution - wooow, no waaaay. No other language can do that (sarcasm, and to add more to it: did they ever try to actually optimise code first?)

Now this makes sense. Thank you from someone who didn't know

Then you should better your skills at understanding written text. Good luck

I can go ahead and just not use Rust to begin with, what is your point?

Lol. Thanks for the trip in your dreams, but that will be enough for me. Have a good day

or that I don't want to twist my brain with Rust way of things. But I agree with you on everything else :)

I am not gonna look for first x= expression when I want to know type

Sorry for intrusion, but mhm, nah. I get it there are people who want to play around and have language/compiler babysit them, but there are also people like me who want to see exactly what something is. So no, Rust, just like JavaScript, can be liked by some people, but it is in no way something that has "best type system"

There actually is no such thing as best type system, same way there is no such thing as best language
