I really enjoyed some Xbox game called "quantum redshift" and I've been trying to capture that feeling ever since. VR game called Redoubt gets close.

The important part is that the individual people spend more per capita for worse healthcare, too. You, private citizen reading this, are worse off and are paying more than you would be with socialized medicine in this country. Pretty much no matter what level you're at, too.

They also wouldn't have to worry about losing their seat in the Senate for passing a law that was reinterpreted 250 years later.

Legislatures are elected and they can't be expected to know how a law can be interpreted.

Isn't that, like, the fucking job? CEOs can't be expected to know if a given task will lose money for the company. Doesn't matter if they were put in that position by a popular vote or a board vote
