How does one even begin to have a hypothesis to even decide to test this? Why does one? Any answer feels like it would be morally questionable or involve a fetish of some kind.

If you notice, there was basically no actual news coverage of this march, forcing me to use this really short article to post about it. The news seems to have actively avoided covering it in any fashion.

How does that work, legally speaking? Have we ever had a President in the past century that had states that didn't allow them on the ballot? Outside of having to go all the way back to like Lincoln times.

It would certainly be interesting to see the long-term ramifications if they tried.

Don't kill the human shield? You don't kill the hostages in a hostage situation. Well, if you're not Israel, at least. They seem fine with killing Israeli hostages as well and just blaming the other party for killing them by them not moving them out of the way of IDF bombs.

You can drop a bomb in the middle of a crowd of people and still claim to not have been targeting the people, they were just there. Doesn't really change the evilness of the action one way or the other.

Good. Slow progress, but progress nonetheless. The more we can prevent made up conditions like "excited delirium" from being used, the more protected we can be from police abuse.

EMTs don't want to stand up to police because police officers like to threaten them if they don't follow what the cops say to do.

I don't believe the most recent vaccine released is fully up to date with the most recent ascendant variants. Unfortunately, even with the increased speed of conception and production that mRNA vaccines allow, large-scale viral pathogens still manage to mutate at a faster rate.

If the rate of spread was reduced through other measures than just vaccinations, we'd have a better capability to create up to date versions in time to be relevant.

But we're not doing any such measures, are we?

Something Hillary Clinton suggested they do back in 2016 and with her backing of federal funding to pay for all of it and for free training of the people living there for the new job position of solar engineers.

The article literally gives examples of the big conservative social media accounts making a fuss about the book list, including LibsOfTikTok which has millions of followers and frequently incites harassment and bomb threats toward their targets
