There are many rural parts of Canada where A & W is the only fast food choice. I've noticed this is especially true for service stations west of Ontario. I spent my twenties living on the road and got stuck eating A & W so much I can only stomach their chicken these days.

The trick to avoiding this if you can't build a rig yourself is to find a shop thats independent from any of the big corps and tell them very clearly you will not be using windows on it. They tend to hate dealing with microsoft too. There's a shop in Toronto(PC Shop computers) I send friends to for this very reason. They'll knock 100 bucks off a new machine and breathe a sigh of relief for the time and money you saved them.

I have never paid for windows in the 30 years I've been building and using PCs. It just never felt worth it. I have however happily donated to the dev team of each linux distro I've used for as long as I used it. Right now that means a hundred bucks a year to Glorious Eggroll. I've already spent more on Nobara than a windows key would cost me and I don't regret it one bit.

Some cats bite to show affection. My little guy has been happily chewing on my knuckles since the day we found him starving in the streets. He's not particularly gentle about it either, but he's all purrs while doing it.

I once received a summons I unintentionally ignored. I was working in a bush camp when it was sent and didn't actually get home to read it until almost six months later. Nothing ever came of it.

I built a new gaming computer a month ago. After a couple hours of research, I chose Nobara. It was by far the easiest experience I have ever had setting up an OS and everything has worked flawlessly so far. Even my wife who isn't tech savvy at all has no issues using it. I cannot recommend it enough to new users who want an easy time gaming. I've been a linux user for almost twenty years, but I just wanted something easy that didn't need tinkering and Nobara delivered.

I just want to point out that for many of us, sex ends up kinda scheduled anyway. When my wife and I started dating, we were both against scheduled sex and kept things organic. Now that we're 40 and work 40 hours a week, fridays and sundays are generally the only days we have enough time and energy to do it. It isn't exactly scheduled, but functionally I see no difference. The only times we've deviated from that in the last few years is when we're on vacation.
