His ankle got caught underneath him. Can we maybe talk about how the Green Bay playing surface is shitty just like we do with MetLife?
Looks like he took a shot right to the ribs. That really fucking hurts when you’re not ready for it.
Packers have been creative this drive. I didn’t even know you were allowed to huddle like that after coming to the line.
Ultimately, it really doesn’t matter if he had an injury before the game in my opinion (although he clearly didn’t have a tear before the game). As far as I’m aware, the Questionable or Doubtful tags are simply meant to provide a probability of a player playing in the game. Even if Burrow was injured, it’s not “illegal” to not list him as Questionable if it was never a question he was going to play.
For everyone blaming the turf for that, can you please explain how exactly a turf surface would cause an Achilles to snap when a guy is standing stationary and pushes off his back leg? Feels like everyone is just being dramatic here.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a clear snap of an Achilles like that. Fucking brutal.
Pretty sure they’ve changed it to roughing only if they hit the kicker’s plant leg, unless it’s they just egregiously blow him up.
This is the biggest 10-0 blowout ever
I’m definitely exposing myself as someone with no experience with tattoos, but I’m assuming that big gash on Tua’s arm will fuck up his tattoo right?
That’s a pretty good example of the arbitrary “receiver in the area” rule is pretty stupid. He’s clearly just flinging the ball anywhere to avoid a safety but since he got lucky that a receiver happened to be kinda sorta near the ball, it’s an incomplete pass.
I mean that’s a blatant flag
